“12 Days of Midtown” in December Highlights Festive & Fun Ways to Celebrate the Season
Committed to fostering a center for culture, creativity and vibrancy in Sacramento’s urban core, the Midtown Association is pleased to present “12 Days of Midtown” where local businesses and organizations offer celebratory events, activities and specials to encourage visitors to spend time in Midtown this season.
“The holidays offer a perfect opportunity to explore and discover Midtown,” said Emily Baime Michaels, Executive Director of the Midtown Association. “With so many locally owned businesses and eateries, guests to Midtown can take great pride in supporting the community while engaging in festive activities and finding unique gift items along the way.”

City Continues Free Holiday Parking Program
In an effort to encourage residents to dine and shop downtown during the holiday season, the City of Sacramento will offer free metered parking during modified hours.
The City will offer free parking on weekdays after 4:30 p.m. and all-day on weekends starting Nov. 25 through Dec. 25 in midtown and Old Sacramento.
Sierra Collage Celebrates Pride Days

On Friday evening Nov. 18 , beneath a befitting lavender sky, Sierra College's Spectrum committee celebrated their 6th annual Pride days.
Chair person, Johnnie Terry unveiled their newest project titled, Narratives of Courage which documents the stories of LGBT community figures.
