The May 10 Issue Is Now Available456

One of this year’s Sac Pride performers graces the cover of this issue of Outword Magazine. She is known on RuPaul’s Drag Race as Phi Phi O’hara (Jeremi Carey) and will be in Sacramento to help us celebrate. While the festival isn’t until June 2, we thought you would like to see a sneak peek of the things to come.

Also coming up is Harvey Milk Day. There are a number of activities planned, so check out the calendar section and plan accordingly. (There is also an ad on page 16.) In politics, Fred Karger is causing a stir using sexy frisbee players to introduce himself to California as a candidate for the President of the United States.

Farther into the magazine we have the NCAC gearing up for their next bike ride. We have a story about the new Avengers movie, the SF Gay Mens Chorus singing, Beer and Ballet and “Tony Fever Takes Over Broadway.” Don’t miss a great photograph, taken by Charles Peer at the last Drag Queen Bingo, on page 22.

You can click on the image of our cover to be directed to the Outword’s web site where you can read the magazine online. You can also go down to one of our distribution spots, like coffee shops, newsstands, outdoor racks, bread stores and some of the local bars and pick up your own copy. \
