Seeing Gender shows how race, sexuality, and class interact with gender

Gender is an intensely personal, yet universal, facet of humanity. It has also been a journey for queer author and artist Iris Gottlieb, who visually explores gender in all of its complexities in her new book, Seeing Gender.

Using her vibrant, personal artistic style, Iris starts with engaging definitions of central concepts, then mines history and pop culture for the stories and people who have shaped the conversation on gender.

An official TAG APPROVED LGBTQ friendly hotel, the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel, is proud to offer a special Pride Package for overnight guests who plan to attend the upcoming 2019 SacPride Festival and related activities happening in downtown Sacramento.

TAG (Travel Advocacy Group) was first founded in 1997 and qualifies travel businesses based on their employment policies, services, and support returned to the LGBTQ community.

Dublin City Council Votes Not to Fly Rainbow Flag

On May 21st, 2019, the Dublin, CA City Council voted down a request to fly the rainbow flag over City Hall for this year’s Pride celebration.

Hate against our community was on full display during the Tuesday night city council meeting, as community speakers made wild (and, frankly, sickening) accusations that the gay community wanted to advocate for pedophilia and include it in the LGBTQI acronym.
