The May 12 Issue is Out Now.

Controversies aside, there are a lot of folks out there that love rodeos, and the people that love rodeos too! We sent our intrepid photographer James Dusch all the way down to the far reaches of our state to capture some great shots of the Palm Springs rodeo. So our cover reflects that spirit, and then some of the pictures can be spotted on page 29.
We have been referring to this issue as our spring pictures (pictues) issue around the Outword offices because there are so many of them inside the pages. We have pics from WEAVE’s “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event, the Gay and Lesbian softball league here in Sacramento and some great shots from the last Drag Queen Bingo.

Elsewhere in the issue there are profiles about two of the performers that will be at Sacramento Pride this year, a couple of rocker chicks along with k.d. lang, GLEE and even an opportunity to actually dive to a sunken treasure - for a fee. There are tales of love that span over 61 years and a mention about a New York Times article blasting the YES on 8 minions.
