The November 10 Issue of Outword is Out Now!

Nov 11, 2022

As we approach the Holiday Season, more and more things are being offered for us to do and see. Live shows, movies and restaurants are all enjoying having crowds return to patronize them. This is happening all over the city and we will keep you updated, as best we can, so you can check it all out.

When we discovered what was happening for the holidays down on R Street, we had to pass along that information. Be sure to check out those details on page 9, and a big “Thank You” goes to The Snug and photographer Anna Wick, for the beautiful and delicious-looking cover photo!

By now, you all know that we have lots of stuff to offer in each of our issues, and here are some of the cool things contained in the pages of this pre-Holiday issue:

“The Stark Reality for Would-be Homebuyers in Sacramento,” the end of the State of Emergency of Monkeypox, “What Makes a Human Rights Activist” and “Celebrate Transgender Awareness Week.” To name a few.

Speaking earlier about shows coming to town, Al Franken will be at the Crest Theatre on December 9, the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus is ramping up for a “Splash of Sass,” and there are some great live events going on in the Bay Area this month.

Chris Narloch chats about some new movies, Matt Burlingame gifts us with his “Out and About” column, “Zolita Has 20 Questions,” there are Chippendales, and even “A Midsummer Dream.”

As always you know what to do. Grab a copy in print or read it online – all for Free. (No Musk-y $8/month charge here!) Thanks for picking us up and we will, hopefully, see you soon at Outword’s Happy Hour, this Friday, November 11th at Badlands.

Don’t forget next month, our December Happy Hour will be a toy drive for WEAVE’s Holiday Shoppe, and we will be posting a Wish List for what you can get to help, very soon.

Enjoy!
