Of course, we have already started gathering stories and fun stuff for the first issue to 2025, but that’s a whole different announcement. In this 12-26-24 issue we take a look back at the 23 issues that came out during 2024. If you see anything you missed, or want to take a second look at, remember that they are all available online, for free, either as PDFs or online flip versions hosted by ISSUU. All you need to do is click over to www.outwordmagazine.com.
You know the scoop. This issue also contains so much more than just the year end wrap up.
As we did during His first administration, we are going to limit the news stories that we include in the magazine. Why? Because it will become impossible to keep up with the speed of happenings, day to day. However, when there is something that our community really needs to be focused on, you can count on us to highlight it. So, what do you we have for you with this issue?
“It’s Not Just Denied Claims,” and essay about how the medication industry is changing and maximizing profits, sometimes at the expense of patients… “What is Polio?” Why are we including this? Because we felt it necessary to know what is being threatened and what the true ramifications could be. We have also include HRC’s Epidemic of Violence report findings. Again, this is all good information and very good to know.
Then there is Cher. More exactly, there is a review from Terri Schlichenmeyer of Cher’s new memoir, or at least the first part of it. Part two will be coming out at a later date.
Then Chris Narloch highlights some interesting exhibits at the Crocker Art museum and he brings his now-famous mini reviews of four movies, two of them being holiday oriented. He finishes up with local theater call outs and a blurb about the new season of “Squid Game.”
We also share some fun pics of the Outword Liquid Therapy toy drive for WEAVE, and Matthew Burlingame includes more fun things to do.
Also, drumroll please… Activating Taste Buds triumphantly returns with two fooderies in San Francisco.
So, there you have it. 2024’s final issue of Outword. Full of information as well as fun things to do, read and see. The paper copies are out now, and they online versions are, of course, ready for your reading pleasure.
Take care, and have a Wonderful, Safe New Years.
