Our Annual Pets Special Issue is Out Now!
As we have said many times before, our annual Pet issue is absolutely one of our favorite issues to put together. And, to make things even better this year we had a lot of entries for our pet photo contest! Thank you to everyone that sent in pics of their adorable, loved ones. You can see the winners on page 17 and many of the other entries on pages 18 and 19.
This year, we have a ton of pet related content, which is always fun. If you like traveling with your dog (or cat) be sure to check out the article and resources for booking a pet friendly hotel, and the article about where there are some awesome beaches you can take your dog to. On page 15 you can read about boarding your dog if you are not able to take them with you.
On page 16 you’ll find an article about Sadie Grove Nurture Farm sanctuary. It looks like a lovely place with some caring, loving folks, doing great things by the animals. Be sure and read, and support them, if you can.
Our own Chris Allan has two great articles in this issue. She checks in with Pastor Casey Tinnin, and then shares photos and details of her recent journey through East L.A.
Of course, what would an issue of Outword be without great entertainment stuff? On that front, Chris Narloch has certainly come through. There is plenty of local theater, including a new Broadway Sacramento touring show, new music from three handsome fellas, and four new movie reviews.
Finally, Outword would not be complete without Matt Burlingame’s Out & About column, filled with fun things to see and do.
There are several other cool articles about our fantastic four-legged friends that I could mention, but you will need to pick up a copy or flip through the issue online to check them all out.
