Rainbow Festival Returns to Sacramento
Robin S. will be showing Sacramento some love at Rainbow Festival this year! She will be headlining, and some other great talent, along with a star DJ, will round out the entertainment lineup. Don’t miss what is sure to be a fun Sunday, just before Labor Day, at the corner of 20th and K Streets. Check out page 18 for entertainment details.
This Issue is Outword‘s 28th Anniversary Issue, but it also celebrates the 38th anniversary of FACES nightclub. Be sure to check out page 31 for the details, and a little trip down memory lane with Terry Sidie.
As you well know, there are lots of things that get stuffed into the pages of any given Outword Magazine. This Issue is no different, and we invite you to check out what else there is to be seen and read.
Chris Allan visited Nevada County Pride and wrote a sweet story about it along with a couple of photos. It looks like it was a good time. Page 16. She also visited with the chefs that will be working the Tower Bridge Dinner that precedes Sacramento‘s Annual Farm to Fork Festival. Check out her photographs of the chefs and a couple of pictures of the amazing food that they have planned for the diners on page 24.
Chris Narloch brings us great entertainment stuff, like four new movies, some live shows, a review of the Barbie soundtrack, and more.
Matthew Burlingame, of course, shines a light on events that are happening in and around Sacramento. You can read about those in his Out and About column on page 28.
Of course, this is only a smattering of what you will find in this Special Anniversary Issue of Outword. So, click through to read the free online versions, or hop down to your local coffee shop or watering hole, to pick up a completely-analog, paper version of this new Issue. Again, as always, free.
As we start to wrap up summer here in Sacramento, we hope you are having a great one, and we look forward to seeing you at Rainbow Festival.
Enjoy and take good care!
