For a couple of years now we have been publishing three Pride issues each season. Since these are very popular issues, breaking them into three separate publications allows us to bring way more pride news, as well as fun things, like beautiful pictures of local pride events. This is certainly the case with this issue. It is packed full with; a letter from the President, a letter from the Governor, a letter from us here at Outword, and more. Then, of course, there are those fantastic photos, from both Davis Pride and Sac Pride’s parade!

Our very own, Chris Allan, has traveled around Northern California to some of the smaller pride events, and she writes about both Placer Pride and Eastern Sierra Pride. You can check out her experiences on pages 15 and 16.

Our Certified Specialist of Wine returns with “Cattleya by Ribiana Gonzalez Rave.” (Sounds exotic). Page 20.

Chris Narloch gives us fresh, new info about the Mens and the Women’s chorus,’ ARTHOUSE, a new “MacArther Park” and the movie “Hit Man,” just to name a few things. Matthew Burlingame brings us his wonderful “Out & About” column, and there are some great pics of food on the Activating Taste Buds page. Of course, there is so much more. Check it out.
